Book-Discussion-2

Every library has a monthly book discussion group, and some locations have several! It doesn’t matter what you enjoy reading, there is a group for you.

Because we have so many groups, there is a page on our website devoted to showing what we are reading and when. Discussions at each location feature books from all genres and subjects, including books you’ve heard of, and some that fly under the radar but are just as amazing. Library staff members are there to facilitate discussion, and we don’t even require you to have finished the book! Newcomers are always welcome to all of our book groups. Feel free to come regularly, or just for the titles that interest you.

The majority of our groups read a bit of everything, but Tuckahoe and Twin Hickory have groups devoted to reading just fiction or nonfiction. Our All Henrico Reads title, After Anna by Lisa Scottoline, will be discussed at each library over the coming months before the author event on April 10 at Glen Allen High School.

We also have several book discussion groups that focus on a particular topic or genre:
