Henrico County Public Library provides many valuable resources for business owners, operators, and entrepreneurs. From market research databases and free WiFi, to meeting space and professional-grade technology, the library offers free tools to support your business.

Business Insights: Essentials – Investigate companies, find overviews of industrial and business topics, and explore interactive charts, narrative data, and statistics.
Consumer Reports – Trusted ratings and reviews, recommendations, and buying advice for thousands of products and services.
Legal Forms – Thousands of legal forms available covering hundreds of legal subjects and issues, with more forms added daily.
Reference Solutions (formerly Reference USA) – Create marketing plans, conduct competitive analysis, raise funds, and locate customers with this selection of databases with information about millions of businesses and consumers.
Rosetta Stone – Interactive language courses for 30 different languages, including English as a second language.
Morningstar Investment Research Center – Find information on mutual funds, stocks, and exchange-traded funds, industry information and investment guidance.
Richmond Times-Dispatch – NewsBank offers full text of staff-written articles from RTD, from 1985 to present.
Value Line - The Value Line Research Center includes online access to Value Line's leading publications covering stocks, mutual funds, options and convertible securities as well as special situation stocks.
At the library
We have a variety of spaces to work, as well as technological resources and reading material to support your business.
All our libraries offer the following business tools.
- Public computers with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, plus web browsers and other software
- Free WiFi
- Scanning and printing
- Seating areas for quiet work
- Large non-fiction collections with books, ebooks, and audiobooks about starting and operating a business
- Newspapers and magazines with both current and back issues
- Conference and meeting rooms (temporarily unavailable) reservable online with your library card, and outfitted with state of the art technology including projectors, microphones, screens, cable TV, Blu-ray players, audio/video recorders, video cameras for videoconferencing, and PCs with wired or wireless connection. Digital Media Labs
Fairfield, Libbie Mill, Tuckahoe, Twin Hickory, and Varina libraries feature media labs with advanced audiovisual creative tools, including:
- Adobe Creative Suite—Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Premiere, Illustrator, and more
- 3D design software and 3D printers
Fairfield Library also offers their One Touch Studio for basic video and audio recording projects such as interviews.
Tuckahoe Library is home to the Joseph P. Rapisarda, Jr. Municipal Government & Law Collection, with access to the LexisNexis database.
