Henrico Christmas Mother Book Drive

Henrico-Christmas-Mother-2019-Book-Drive

Our Teen Advisory Boards are once again collecting books as part of the Henrico Christmas Mother Campaign! We are accepting donations of new children’s books at all library locations.

Henrico Christmas Mother assists families in economic need and of all religious backgrounds at the holiday time. Last year the Henrico Christmas Mother was able to provide food and gifts for 4200 individuals, and our TAB book drive contributed over 200 books to the cause! Learn more about the Henrico Christmas Mother at their website.

“Since 1942, Henrico Christmas Mother has provided food, new clothing, books, toys and other gift items to Henrico families with children, seniors age 65+, and disabled adults during the holiday season.” - HenricoChristmasMother.org

There is a special need for board books for babies and toddlers, but any new children’s or teens' books will be accepted. The book drive runs from November 1 to November 30. Look for donation boxes at your library!
