Join us on Saturday, June 20 for our virtual LibraryCon. We are hosting online D&D workshops for gamers at any level, and you can enter to win our cosplay contest!

Workshops:

Character Creation Workshop at 1:00 pm – Your next adventure is only a character away! Learn how to create a 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons player character from scratch. One of our expert Dungeon Masters will walk you through the process, including selecting the type of character you want to play, rolling dice and assigning your ability stats, and developing your backstory. With a little creativity, everyone should walk away with a fully formed and personalized character.

Join WebEx meeting online using the password HCPL

D&D One-Shot Adventures at 2:00 pm – Learn the basics of tabletop gaming by navigating the Dungeons Dragons multiverse with a party of other heroic adventurers. The adventure will last approximately two hours. We welcome all skill levels, from beginner to expert. Registration is required. A link to the game will be emailed an hour before the game begins. You must possess or create a Roll20 account to participate.

If you are 13 years old or older, please register here.
If you are under 13 years old, please register here.

Costume Contest:

Submit a photo of yourself in costume to teenlibrarian@henricolibrary.org to enter. Photo submissions must be received by 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 20 to be eligible. We will share submissions and announce the winners on the hcpl_teenscene Instagram and Facebook at 4 pm.

Was there no one who did the costume contest? I haven't seen anything.

Sadly, we did not receive any submissions to our Cosplay Contest this year. We understand that the virtual format might not be as friendly to this type of event and look forward to future LibraryCons when we can reintroduce the Cosplay Contest into the physical space.
