Thank You for Attending All Henrico Reads 2025 with Ruth Reichl

We couldn’t be more grateful to bestselling author Ruth Reichl and the community for making this year’s All Henrico Reads another one for the books! Thank you for joining us for an evening of conversation about food, art, and learning to enjoy life’s pleasures. Read on for more details about this year’s delicious event.

Explored again through the eyes of Stella, The Paris Novel describes the Paris that author Ruth Reichl fell in love with years ago. Throughout the evening, Ruth shared her own experiences with the food, art, fashion, and people of Paris and their influence on both her and Stella’s stories. She spoke on Stella’s journey to finding home and learning to live larger. Of course, one doesn’t need to travel to Paris to live large. Ruth remarked that the key to living fully is to stay curious and appreciate smaller moments. Whether it’s a perfectly ripe apple, the hummingbird in your garden, or the warmth of the sun on a winter day, it’s important to indulge in all of life’s pleasures.

A big thank you to Ruth Reichl and everyone who attended last week’s event. We are grateful for our sponsors, the Friends of Henrico County Public LibraryHenrico County Public Schools, and Henrico County, who make All Henrico Reads possible. We are additionally thankful to local bookseller Book People and our library staff for their hard work in making the evening and related programs a success.
