Pride Month: Fresh Reads

Explore recently released LGBTQIA+ books in our collection. Read on for just a sampling of the latest titles to hit our shelves. Plus, be sure to check out Libby, Overdrive’s library reading app, to find highlighted reads for Pride Month. Thrill of the Chase by Kathryn Nolan – In a race to find the Blackburn Diamonds, a reluctant partnership forms between a reporter and antiques salvager. Will their incessant bickering turn into… sparks?

Athlete is Agender: True Stories of LGBTQ+ People in Sports by Jess Vosseteig – A collection of non-fiction stories from LGBTQIA+ athletes and writers about the joys of finding one’s sport and feeling part of a team.  

Between Sun and Shadow by Laura Genn – A sci-fi remix of Beauty and the Beast set in space featuring a princess of sunlight and a winged mutant queen who must work together to prevent a galactic war.

Evil-ish by Kennedy Tarrell – A humorous graphic novel about Hawthorne Vandercast, who is ready to trade their job as potion barista for a life of villainy in the Brigade of Shade. But when tragedy strikes and Vandercast is thrown into the role of leader, they realize that maybe this isn’t the life they dreamed of after all.
