We invite the community to join us on Thursday, March 27 at 7 PM at the Henrico Sports and Events Center for an evening with Ruth Reichl, including an in-person discussion, Q&A, book sales from Book People, and a book signing. A leading voice in the culinary world, Ruth Reichl was a food critic for the New York and Los Angeles Times, a former chef and restaurant owner, and the author of several novels, memoirs, and a cookbook. Her title, The Paris Novel, explores food, art, and fashion in 1980s Paris through the story of a young woman who, after the death of her mother, discovers a life of passion and adventure upon moving to Paris. You can pick up a copy of The Paris Novel from a library near you (or borrow a digital copy on Libby), and share your thoughts on the title at an upcoming book discussion or related program.
