- Thursday, November 7, 4-5PM at Varina
- Celebrate National Native American Heritage Month with a reading of Fry Bread: A Native American Family Storyby Kevin Noble Maillard. Learn the history of fry bread and enjoy some freshly prepared samples from our demonstration kitchen. Please be conscious of your child’s food allergies and inform us of any potential issues.
- DIY Cookie Decorating for Teens
- Wednesday, November 13, 6:30-7:30PM at Libbie Mill
- Best for teens in grades 6-12. Celebrate the holiday season by learning how to frost your own beautifully decorated cookie to take home and enjoy! Come hang out in the meeting room and learn frosting basics like borders, flowers, and succulents. We'll provide the materials, you provide the creativity.
- Tea Blend Workshop (Adults)
- Monday, December 2, 6:30-8PM at Libbie Mill
- Mingle while sampling different teas, learn about the various ingredients, and create your own tea blend. Light refreshments and hot tea are provided.
- Fairfield Recipe Swap (Adults)
- Tuesday, December 3, 6-7PM at Fairfield
- Bring a written copy of one of your favorite recipes and help us compile a collection of our community's top recipes for baking or gatherings. Get ideas and inspiration from others for your next delicious creation. Books and other resources will also be available.
- Mouthwatering Mug Treats (Adults)
- Monday, December 9, 6:30-8PM at Fairfield
- Learn some tips and tricks to make great-tasting treats in a mug, then enjoy the delicious results. Don't forget to check out a cookbook to find even more delicious recipes to make at home.
- Cursed Jello (Teens & Tweens)
- Tuesday, December 10, 6-8PM at Varina
- Explore the weird world of gelatinous foods. Learn about the history of jello and taste several different kinds of gelatin-based desserts. You do not have to know how to cook to participate. All supplies are provided, and books will be available to check out. Registrants: Be aware that we will be handling a variety of raw ingredients. Please be conscious of your child’s food allergies and inform us of any potential issues.
