- Creative Movement with Children
- Wednesday, September 11, 6:30 – 8PM at Libbie Mill
- Enrich your early childhood classroom through the magic of creative movement. Presented by a children's dance instructor, participants will discover the power of dance in fostering gross motor skills and self-regulation in children. Children's books incorporating dance will be recommended and available for checkout.
- The Inclusive Classroom
- Thursday, October 17, 6:30 – 8PM at Tuckahoe
- The importance of creating inclusive environments for children of all abilities in early childhood programs is supported by evidence-based research, legal requirements, and policy guidance from the U.S. Department of Education. Learn more about how to strengthen your program by increasing access for young children with disabilities and supporting your team to build efficacy around practices to create an inclusive classroom.
- Social Emotional Health in Early Childhood
- Wednesday, November 6, 6 – 7:30PM at Glen Allen
- Presented by staff from Greater Richmond SCAN, this training explores developmental milestones of early childhood, shares ways to build and strengthen connections between caregivers and young children, and provides strategies for addressing challenges such as temper tantrums and big behaviors typical for this age group.

- Join Jessica Brickey of Partners in Parenting for an overview of neurodiversity in early childhood, including the topics of sensory processing and autism.
