Lisa Scottoline’s talk this Wednesday at Glen Allen High School was the perfect culmination of this year’s All Henrico Reads. We hope you had as much fun as we did!
Highlighting the themes of her work, Lisa discussed family, community, and the importance of books and reading, showcasing her skills as a storyteller. She shared delightful tales of the women in her family and how they have inspired her work over the years, reminding us that “the truth connects.” Fact or fiction, we relate to what we read because it resonates with a truth within ourselves.
Thank you, Lisa, for an amazing night, thank you to everyone who was able to join us on Wednesday, and to all who read After Anna or who participated in our programs. Thank you also to the Friends of Henrico County Public Library, Henrico County Public Schools, and library staff. The evening would not have been possible without your support.
We are also pleased to announce our featured author for All Henrico Reads 2020, which will be Robin Sloan discussing his latest novel, Sourdough.
See you next year!
