Small Steps to Health & Wealth

January 9 class has been cancelled.
However, registered participants may stop by the Reference desk at the Fairfield Library to pick up the workbook starting Tuesday, January 10 after 9am. Per the instructor please read the first 4 strategies!
Class will start on Monday, January 23 at 6:30pm.
Small Steps to Health and Wealth is a program designed to motivate participants to improve both their health and their finances. The program encourages participants to set a health goal and/or a wealth goal and take action to achieve their goals by identifying small progress steps. Over the sessions participants will be introduced to 20 similarities between health and personal finance issues and 10 suggested behavior change strategies that can be applied to either area of life. The impact of health on finances and finances on health is also explored. Call (804) 501-1930 for more information.

You Can Live Well, Virginia! Chronic Disease Self Management Program

Wednesdays, January 18, 25, Feburary 1, 8, 15, & 22, 10:00 am
Senior Connections offers You Can! Live Well, Virginia workshops for people with chronic conditions and/or caregivers and family members of people with chronic conditions. This program helps participants learn a variety of necessary day-to-day management skills to maintain or increase activities to lead a healthier and happier life while dealing with their chronic condition. These free workshops are scheduled for 2½ hours once a week for six weeks. Regular attendance is expected. Register online or call (804) 501-1980.
