This Spring, there’s a lot to discover at the library.  We’ve got a full slate of programs suited to every interest, new features added to popular resources, a new catalog look and feel, and of course, new additions to our collection.

This Spring, you can join us at a variety of Storytimes, in-person book discussions, craft programs, STEM activities, lectures, and much more.

Observe National Poetry Month by checking out a book of verse or attending a poetry program. Check out the April Program Guide, or view our events calendar to see what’s coming up.

Just in time for test prep and finals, try Tutor.com – which now offers the resources of The Princeton Review.  Adult and teen jobseekers can have their resumes reviewed by experts as well.

For additional test prep and study help, try Brainfuse Help Now or Learning Express Library.

Have you seen the new look of the HCPL catalog?  We hope that you are enjoying the improved search results.  We’d love to hear your thoughts on the change at newcatalog@henricolibrary.org.

And of course, we are adding new items to our collection all the time! Check out one of our new book kits to participate in the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Challenge! Log books, earn prizes and introduce the habit of reading to the little ones in your life. Visit our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten webpage to learn more. To browse new reads, check out our online list of New Books, or your library’s New Books section!

For books that are new to you, try getting custom //henricolibrary.org/recommendations via My Next Read, or subscribe to one of our subject-specific newsletters for picks tailored by audience or genre.

We hope to see you at the library this spring and invite you to stay awhile to enjoy our indoor and outdoor spaces as the weather warms up.

Here’s to sunny days ahead!
