The New Fairfield Area Library is Open!

We are so thankful to all of you who attended the opening of the new Fairfield Area Library. More than 2500 citizens visited the library on Sunday, and checked out over 1100 books. We are honored to have the support of our community, and we look forward to serving you in this beautiful facility for years to come. Read on for more of the day’s highlights!

The interactive Everbright wall was a huge hit.

The children’s department has so many great places to hang out...

...including these innovative computer work-and-play stations, where parents and caregivers can work on the computer next to a comfortable, enclosed playspace for their little ones!

Did you see the Trailblazers Wall? It is full of inspiring biographies of people who made an impact in Henrico, the state, and the nation.

The library will be open 9 am to 9 pm Monday through Thursday, and 9 am to 6 pm Friday and Saturday, and 1-5 on Sundays.
