This August we are starting a new stitching group at Tuckahoe Library. The Rainbow Stitching Group is for LGBTQIA+ knitters, crocheters, sewists, and fiber crafters to get together and stitch. This is the third stitching group that meets regularly at HCPL! Read on to find out more about our other groups and upcoming craft programs.

STITCHING GROUPS

Rainbow Stitching Group
First meeting is on Thursday, August 4, 6:30PM at Tuckahoe Library

A stitching group for LGBTQIA+ makers! Join us on the first Thursday of each month to create community while knitting, crocheting, sewing, and crafting. Peruse informative books on fiber arts and crafts.

Bring your own project to work on, or if you would like to learn the basics of a particular stitching technique, please contact bbroome@henricolibrary.org to ensure we have the supplies and expertise to get you started.

Crochet Night
Next meeting is on Tuesday, August 2, 6:30PM at Fairfield Library

Join us on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month to learn new techniques and build your crochet skills. All skill levels welcome. Books and supplies are available if needed.

Knit & Lit
Next meeting is on Tuesday, August 2, 10AM at Varina Library

Are you a knitter or have you always wanted to learn? Bring your needles and yarn on the first and third Tuesdays of the month to share ideas and skills, or to just knit socially. The library will supply instruction and knitting-related books. Drop in, no registration required.

GENERAL CRAFTS

Crafts in the Morning

Next meeting is on Wednesday, August 3, 10:30AM at Twin Hickory Library

Sponsored by the Friends of Twin Hickory Library. Registration required.

Crafternoon: Paper Bead Jewelry
