It is with great excitement that we announce that hotspots are now available for check out at Henrico County Public Library.

A hotspot is a small portable device that enables users to wirelessly connect to the internet. It’s perfect for those moments when you can’t make it to the library but still need to complete a homework assignment, wrap up a work project, continue your job search, or just want to surf the net. Whether at home or at your local coffee shop, an HCPL hotspot will allow you to access the internet for free, no matter where you are.

Library members who are 18 years of age or older can place holds on hotspots and have them delivered to their preferred library branch. Hotspots are available for 28-day checkout periods (non-renewable) and can be returned to any HCPL location. For more information about hotpots, contact your library.

The hotspots program is made possible through support from Facebook.
